These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the LensPlate mobile application (the "Service"), operated by LensPlate (the "Company"). By using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

LensPlate is offered as an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Apple is the merchant of record.

• Yearly — $39.99/year with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Monthly — $9.99/month, no trial.

The yearly plan starts automatically when the 3-day trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store before you confirm a purchase.

AI photo analysis is computationally expensive, so it carries a fair-use limit of 30 AI scans per day. Barcode scanning, nutrition-label reference data, food search, and your history are not limited. We may adjust the fair-use limit to keep the Service sustainable; material changes will be announced in the app.

LensPlate provides AI-generated nutrition estimates and visual food logs. The Service is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition estimates from photos are approximations and can be wrong; you can and should adjust them when they are.

Consult a healthcare provider before starting any diet or making significant changes to how you eat, especially if you have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating. The Company is not liable for injury or adverse health effects resulting from use of the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service to build a competing dataset or scrape its content.
• Circumvent subscription requirements or fair-use limits.
• Upload content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

You own the photos and data you add to LensPlate. You grant the Company the limited license needed to host, process, and display that content back to you — that is, to operate the Service as described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — cancel it in your App Store settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid through the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 USD if you haven't purchased anything.

In no event is the Company liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

We may revise these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
